City Harvest Food Rescue Canterbury named Civic Award Winner!

Last Wednesday Janice & John proudly accepted on behalf of the Trustees, Volunteers and Staff of City Harvest Food Rescue, the Christchurch Civic Award for Emerging Leaders 2017.

The Mayor of Christchurch, Lianne Dalziel presented the Award at a ceremony in the Great Hall of the Arts Centre. In his acceptance speech John mentioned that without the passion of all those involved, especially the CHFR Volunteers, City Harvest would not have been able to achieve the amazing results it has done in only 10 months of full operation.

He further thanked the support of all the Donor Partners and the funders including the Christchurch City Council for their trust and support.
